Overview

The Communication Associate, reporting to the Vice President, Communication, plans and coordinates corporate events and supports the implementation of initiatives related to BCI's stakeholder and communication strategies.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Must have:

  • Diploma in communication, public relations, and/or a certificate in event management and planning

  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

  • A minimum of four years' experience with corporate event management and planning

  • Good writing and proofing skills

  • Strong computer skills: MS Office; Adobe Acrobat Pro; electronic marketing campaigns; online surveys

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Completion of the CFA Institute Investment Foundations ® Program will be an asset
