Requirements:

Must live in Greater Vancouver and have 3 years of Residential Custom Home experience.

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, Construction management, Construction technology
  • Knowledge of BC building codes
  • Understanding of building systems, residential construction practices, processes & techniques.
  • Can create material quantity take offs from Plans and Specifications.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Smart sheets
  • Communication (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills to work with internal project team, client and externally with subcontractors etc.

Job Description

  • Preparing information on single family homes to hand off to Project managers
  • Must be able to program formulas in Excel with proficiency and create quantity take offs
  • Data entry, Schedule development, and Research
  • Management of Change Orders Requests
  • Management of RFI, Meeting minutes
  • Management of Contracts and Purchase Orders
  • Updating material order lists, Budget Reconciliation, quantity take offs
  • Assisting the Principal of the company with meeting minutes, getting quotes for materials, going to various job sites occasionally.
  • managing digital files, organizing data
