Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the review, acknowledgement, coordination, production and shipping of International orders specific to customer requirements.

Duties Include:

  • Establish objectives and key performance indicators for own position. Monitor progress, highlight deficiencies and implement corrective action.
  • Review of initial tender/bid documents to assess company ability to participate in competitive quotation. Contract review would include:
  • Ability to quote the product requirement
  • Ability to conform to financial requirements. This would include identifying countries that are currently being boycotted by US or Canadian Governments or that Canadian banks will not deal with in terms of currency.
  • Ability to meet Bid timeline.
  • Ability to meet product delivery requirements.
  • Any specific agent involvement.
  • Compilation and Distribution of Financial Approval Form.
  • Interact with manufacturing group to determine accurate product costing and delivery.
  • Prepare wellhead quotations and schematics based on customer input.
  • Interact regularly with customer during bid and order process including bid acknowledgement.
  • Initiate contact with company freight forwarder in terms of preparing quotation for shipping and insurance.
  • Enter International quotations into MAS management system, and where required create sales order once contract awarded.
  • Coordinate with local finance group all customer credit applications, including Letters of Credit and payment terms for staged deliveries and currencies
  • Communicate with Crating sub-contractor all requirements for export crating per customer specifications.
  • Confirm that manufacturing controls and scheduling are in place to meet customer inspection and final delivery requirements.
  • Monitor and act upon issues affecting the margin of existing orders.
  • Initiate contact with internal groups specific to International orders. i.e. Engineering for BOM’s, Quality for inspection plans, Purchasing for coordination of buy-outs and Manufacturing for product delivery schedule.
  • Coordinate with Night Shift for Assembly, Pressure Test and Paint.
  • Coordinate any 3rd party inspection requirements with designated customer representative.
  • Coordinate with company suppliers in terms of quotations and order requirements.
  • Responsible for monitoring and uploading relevant regional customer information into PEAK sales database.
  • Provide Senior Projects Manager with bi-weekly updates to ensure backlog report is accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.
  • Other duties or responsibilities as determined assigned or assumed by the Senior Project Manager International.

Qualifications/Experience/Attributes:

  • Strong working knowledge of wellhead equipment or related experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Working knowledge of material specs and applicable usage with current API specifications.
  • Experience in costing/estimating or project management would be considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as excel, word and Adobe.
  • Working ability with current MAS computer software systems would be an asset.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong Organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Logistics background would be considered to be an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to establish rapport and influence multiple distinct groups.
