Title of Position: Residential Construction Manager

Terms of employment: Full time; Permanent Position; 30 hours per week (morning, day, evening, and sometimes weekend).

Wage: $47.60/hour

Duties:

• Work with designers and homeowners throughout the build;
• Maintain, update and schedule contractors to ensure timely completion of project;
• Perform quality control check on-site to ensure highest quality work performed;
• Ensure contractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work;
• Communicate any conflicts or revisions associated with the project;
• Schedule permit inspections with City officials;
• Identify issues and communicate them with contractors for resolution;
• Perform management duties at multiple job sites;
• Ensure contractors have corrected all deficiencies identified;
• Attend job sites to monitor progress, accuracy, cleanliness and safety; and
• Record job progress and completion list.

Language: English

Level of Education: High School

Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant work experience.     

Location of work: Various locations throughout Calgary and surrounding area.
